I've been in 2 weddings my whole life and I remember that for both we went to a bridal salon and tried on a trillion dresses until the bridesmaids and the bride of course all managed to agree on one dress....it was insane. Luckily, from what I hear it's a lot different now - the bride actually picks 3 or 4 she loves and then it's up to the girls to go try them on and agree on one. Is that how all of u are handling this? I have a big bridal party - 1 MOH, 7 BM's and 1 flowergirl and I have no clue how to coordinate all of this. Do I email them pics and serial #'s of the dresses I like and then send them to the salon that carries them all? Do we have a field day and all go together? Please help...I know I have a few months before I have to worry about this but I want to have a game plan in action

Re: How do u handle BM's dresses?
I have a large Bridal Party also, 9 girls plus one jr. bridesmaid.
I juet went a few times with a couple of the girls, until I decided on a dress I liked, I then emailed the pic to all of the girls saying this is the dress I like, hope you all like it. And i told them were to order it
I would not drive yourself up the wall with it

Re: How do u handle BM's dresses?
I'm giving them a choice of 3 dresses. Luckily they all come in the color I want and the styles are very similar, so if they don't all agree on wearing the same dress, atleast I have a close match. The FG dress I'm choosing.

I have 1 MOH and 3 BM's and since they are all different shapes and sizes Im picking out the bottom of the dress and they can pick the top (Halter, strapless, whatever) - all will be in the same color except MOH who will be in a fuschia instead of pastel pink

I'm letting them all pick different styles (not TOO different) by the same designer, same material, same color. They can all choose something they feel flatters them. I think it looks nice when everyone is just a little bit different.

I actually took my MOH and we picked the dress...
Well.. I wanted this one dress - but when I took her to try it on I decided I didn't like it.... so then she tried on a bunch of other dresses until we found the one we both liked!

Re: How do u handle BM's dresses?
I'm taking my MOH and one of my bridesmaids. We are going to pick out a few dresses, probably 3 or 4, all similar styles, and then let each girl pick the dress she wants to wear. I have every body shape represented in my bridal party, so I figured this would make each girl feel the most comfortable.
