I use the cleaner too!! It comes in a jar. I put it in there for about 10 min. Pull it out ,clean it with the little brush it comes with ,run it under warm to hot water then rinse it with cold.
Looks amazing!!!
Even my jeweler asked where I went to get it cleaned told him I did it myself ... he said'nice job'.
So the cleaner must really work!!

I bought my cleaner from the jewler. Sometimes I leave my ring in the jar overnight and it comes out sparkly

This is how I clean my e-ring: According to Real Simple magazine it says to clean your diamond ring in a 1/4 cup of ammonia mixed with 1 cup of warm water.

Every jeweler I have ever consulted, including my own, has told me that 1/2 ammonia and 1/2 water is fine for cleaning your ring. I've heard 1/3 ammonia is okay too, pure ammonia is bad for some metals, like white gold.

Diamondtalk.com is a diamond and jewelry forum (and as addictive as these wedding forums) It is full of jewelers and certified gemologists. All of them say that store bought jewelry cleaner is no more than a mixture of ammonia, water, a bit of soap and food coloring. I'll take my chances. I need to save the extra money for the wedding

Although many jewelry stores offer free jewelry cleaning, keeping a diamond clean can also be done at home using commercially available jewelry-cleaning products or ammonia-based glass cleaners. A simple plan to keep your diamond jewelry always looking beautiful is to soak the diamond in the cleaning solution overnight, once or twice a week. In the morning, remove the diamond from the solution and brush with a soft toothbrush to remove any extra dirt. Take extra care to brush the back of the diamond (the pavilion) as this will be the area that has collected the most oil and dirt. Then rinse with water and wipe with a lint - and oil-free cloth.
