How do you ladies feel...
How do you ladies feel about coworkers who are not invited but would like to attend your ceremony? I few people asked to attend the ceremony but I honestly don’t have an answer for them.

Re: How do you ladies feel...
I think it is OK to invite people to the ceremony as long as it is not at the reception hall.

I agree - I think it is tough to have them come to a ceremony and then tell them to leave before the party starts. It is usually so much easier when the ceremony takes place in a different location with a time gap in between...

I plan to send out an email to my co-workers that I did not invite saying that I would have loved to have invited them, but due to us having large families it just wasn't feasible, but I'd love for them to attend the ceremony if they are available to that day. But I'm also getting married at a church...

Unless you want them to attend then don't feel like you have to say yes because these ppl are inviting themselves! I think it is totally up to you.

my coworkers just want to be invited. i told them i would if i have space (it would be a last minut invite) and they were ok with it. i think as long as they understand that they cannot stay then its fine.

Re: How do you ladies feel...
I guess it's up to you - but I would feel uncomfortable having them come to the ceremony and then they have to leave when everyone gets called for cocktail hour - & then you have to stay with them to say good bye - just feels weird.BUT...if it's a church wedding it wouldn't be too weird

I'm a teacher and it is very common for people to leave an invite in the main office so people can see when/where the ceremony is and they also know that they are NOT invited to the reception unless they get a personal invitation. I think it all depends on your work environment.Welcome New Vendors
