How do you save a font to Word?

Once you've picked out the font you want to use for your monogram, how in the world do you get it to save to Word so that you can use it?

You need to go to the My Computer file, which should be on your desktop and you need to drag the new font to the Fonts folder (it may be in the Control Panel?) for it to install itself on your computer. Then it will be available for use throughout all your programs.

once you've downloaded the file, copy it, and paste it into your 'font' folder, which can be found in your 'control panel and settings'
