So for some sill reason I was talking about this with FH last night...sleeping in the bed preference. When laying down on your back....is FH to your left or right? With me its a total obsession...not only in bed...I sleep to his right...I have to sit to his right...I have to be on his right....its weird...
Like if we are at a movie theater and there is no one sitting on either side of us..he has to be at my left...but if there are people next to us it doesnt matter...weird right? lol
Just curious to see how everyone else picks the side of the bed...
For me..FH is on my left...ALWAYS! Unless walking on th sidewalk and the street is to the right...he thinks its proper for the man to walk on the street side...like if an out of control mac truck comes...his 220 lb body will protect me

hahah yes we sleep on specific sides, but it depends on the bed!!! if we sleep in his bed, i sleep onhis left, if its my bed, i sleep on his right!!!! lol

I am kind of the same! For us though it's because he is a lefty and I am a righty so if we're out to dinner and he's bumping into me I go CRAZY! It bugs me so much He always has to be on my left! I guess in bed it just ended up being the same thing!

98% of the time he is always on my right...we don't even do that on purpose. It's just funny b/c I noticed this the one time I was on his left..and was like, wow, everything seems different on THIS side!! HAHAA.

I don't actually have a preference on which side he's on. We've moved twice in the past year and a half and both times the sides changed. I sort of pick the side of the room I like better and then he's stuck with the other side. We always joke about that. Right now, he's on the left.

FH sleeps to my right because to my left is my nightstand and he has knocked my lamp on the floor on occasion due to crazy sleeping habits ...so now i keep him away from the lamp

He sleeps to my left. It used to be the other way around, but the left side of the bed is by the window and since he's always hot and has to have the window open......
When we're on vacation or somewhere other than home, it changes. He usually wants to have a direct line of vision to the TV....

he needs to be on my left at all times... i dont even have that sidewalk thing you're talkin about.... i like to interlock arms with him and i can only do it with my left arm... feels too weird with my right... same with holding hands... strange huh

so weird... FH decided to lay on my side the other day and told me to try his out and i wouldnt... funny thing is that when he lived by himself.. the right was his side and he would always make me sleep on the left and to be honest, i do not have a good sleep on that side ... so wehn we moved in... he let me have the right side

fh is on my left with his giant 6'4 leg on me im surprised i wake up in the morning b/c of all the oxygen im losing during the night

It has changed for us over the years depending on the placement of the bed, but I currently sleep with FH to my right. We also usually sit on the couch the same way - I had never realized this!

FH sleeps on my right... We used to sleep opposite but he wanted to be closer to the alarm clock...he could have just moved the clock but no we changed sides about 1 1/2 agod
