I know this has been posted before but I searched but cannot find the thread
So yet again, how do you wear these type of boots?
They are cute, but before I bother buying them I have to figure out a practical way to wear them (I am looking at one of the cheapie knockoffs you see everywhere, not the expensive Ugg-type ones)
I am not exactly a young chickie so I kinda think they'll look stupid on me. And I know I cannot pull off the boot with skirt look ..
So to all the stylish, fashion experts on the boards - help!

I'm so backwards, I bought $90 muckblahblahs last year when no one was wearing them. By the end of the season, they were $29 at Macy's (Steve Madden boots)
And now they are in!!!
And to be honest, I bought them last year because they were comfy not because of how they looked.
You can buy these now at Payless for $20

Actually its a great pic of you! And the boots look cute, esp. accompanied by the Hopkins green frog shirt

Wear them / your jeans folded up or rolled up or you can tuck your jeans in to them if they are straight leg or boot leg. You can also wear them with a jean skirt and with your jeans over them.
I just bought this pair in tan a few weeks ago I love them they go w/ so much.

Ok, I wore my new camel colored Ugg knock-offs for the first time last week and I felt SO insecure all day. People at work were calling me eskimo and I just didn't feel right with my pants tucked in. I don't think I can pull it off. I love the look on others though!

I saw plenty of girls wearing them at the mall today.
One girl wore them with a denim skirt...a short denim skirt.
Another girl wore them with her pants rolled up right to the top of the boot....sort of like she was making capri's with her jeans.
They look comfy...but I don't know if I could pull them off.
Kinda like capri's with the strings hanging and high heels....

I think I saw Payless have the pom pom boots in PINK --and I love them. Don't laugh, I am a bit chubby and a bit older (41) and I want them. I like the lace up ones (was that Sarah Jessica Parker wearing them?)--I was just thinking this morning coming out of Penn Sta., I have to find time to get the boots. Which is a bit weird b/c I lean towards the classic looks. Just gotta love the boots---a bit of style and comfort. The Uggs are ugly (jmo), but w/ the laces and pom poms they look a bit more fun, but for comfort and warmth, I am sure the uggs are great.

I actually like the boot alot too, but I'm with the group who doesn't think they can pull it off, unless - I wear them under my jeans.
