Ok so yesterday i was surprised...at dinner don't remember what we were talking about but FH said 'oh you'll probably get pregnant during the HM' i said ha lets not plan anything, dont you want to wait? and he said no i wouldn't mind having a honeymoon baby. Now let me just say that we discussed this before and we both just agreed to not plan for anything. I said after 2 years we'll try, hes like thats long, maybe by 2009 to already be pregnant and if anything by the 2nd year have it...He also then said hey i wouldn't care if we had one now . I didn't even know what to say.
I want kids badly but i also thought we should wait a little bit lol. Who knew he had the itch
Oh and then he also told me i have to get pregnant May 29 2010 or 2011 i forgot so this way we have have a leap year baby lol...so on top of that im supposed to be popping one out after another
ETA: the part about him not caring if we had one now was just to show he really is ready and doesn't want to wait too long AFTER the wedding, no real intentions to have a kid now or him wanting to try for one before the wedding and i wont even consider it lol

We are ready , he would like to wait atleast 6 months from the wedding! I don't really mind , we live together and we have done plenty of vacations , so why not? what's next... My life wouldn't be over it would be a new chapter and I think he would love being a dad!

its true dont know why we associate it with our life being over lol, its the opposite
i guess its such a huge responsibility and a big change it can be scary but amazing at the same time

they say you should have 2 or 3 menstrual cycles without the pill first my friend has been on the pill for 15 years - she and her husband started trying about 3 months ago and the dr. said it could take a year since she's been on the pill so long

i was gonna suggest trying even a little bit earlier lol but didnt want to suggest something and then your plans get messed up lol

then my mother said today that if i was even a few weeks pregnant the day of the wedding, i may not feel well and it would ruin my whole day so i guess we wont start trying until a month or 2 weeks before???

i know thats the thing you dont want to have that happen. Are you gonna go talk to the doctor and maybe get a kit to check your ovulation whatever that is called that lets you know the best time to try.
I would also start taking pre-natal vitamins now. They say its good to take it a little while before you get pregnant, and the first few weeks are the most crucial for brain development but most women dont take them until later on.
ALSO omega 3 fish oil is very good to start taking.
You probably know alot of this already lol

my friend 'charts' people ovulation cycles she has helped 6 of our friends get pregnant just by charting their temperature everyday
i dont know how it totally works, but she said she will start charting me in december

yeah it tells you what day is best to try and even down the the time frame, like you'll have between 6-7pm to try lol.

i am 28 and fh is 35 no kids probably for at least two to four years. We talked about it again today. He got angry when I brought it up. I said he will be a old daddy but he is fine with. We only plan to have two and that is it! heheh

He feels the same way....he says he wants a HM baby. I on the other hand would like to enjoy marriage for a year or two before having a baby. I would like to go on vacations, get to spend some romantic time alone. I know he would be perfectly happy if we had a baby right away but I dont know.
