how does your FH feel about having babies?

Ok so yesterday i was surprised...at dinner don't remember what we were talking about but FH said 'oh you'll probably get pregnant during the HM' i said ha lets not plan anything, dont you want to wait? and he said no i wouldn't mind having a honeymoon baby. Now let me just say that we discussed this before and we both just agreed to not plan for anything. I said after 2 years we'll try, hes like thats long, maybe by 2009 to already be pregnant and if anything by the 2nd year have it...He also then said hey i wouldn't care if we had one now . I didn't even know what to say.

I want kids badly but i also thought we should wait a little bit lol. Who knew he had the itch

Oh and then he also told me i have to get pregnant May 29 2010 or 2011 i forgot so this way we have have a leap year baby lol...so on top of that im supposed to be popping one out after another

ETA: the part about him not caring if we had one now was just to show he really is ready and doesn't want to wait too long AFTER the wedding, no real intentions to have a kid now or him wanting to try for one before the wedding and i wont even consider it lol

My boyfriend is a plumber and wants to be 'Mr. Mom'. He figures I can teach during the day and when I get home he can go out and work on people's houses. It does work out perfectly but I'm a little scared about him raising the kids. My landlord right now is a retired cop (who drinks all day) and has two kids. The wife raised the oldest one (who's an angel) and the younger daughter he raised is completely out of control. I don't think my FH would be bad but it's still a wierd thought...I always pictured myself raising the kids.

well FH gets out earlier than me so he would have to help alot. I do have confidence he'll be ok lol

OMG my FH is same way. im like i need to learn how to take care of myself and a husband before i take care of a baby!! i still live at home so i need that year or 2 of adjustment time. but it is nice to know they can be so excited about kids!

Its funny cause FH is the one who mentions kids all the time and I make faces about it. The idea of having children TERRIFIES me. Last night he mentioned kids and I made this horror face and he said, 'I DONT MEAN NOW!!'

FH & I had this talk the other day & we decided we will start in 2010. If it happens sooner thats ok also but we would like to wait till then.

considering our ages (i'm 32, fh is 39) we will probably start trying next july or august. 4-5 mths after the wedding. I would love to have a baby during the spring/summer instead of in the middle of the winter when the baby would be stuck inside. (plus, my leave is 5mths PLUS vacation, so close to 6mths and I'd rather it be in the nicer weather)

Me and my FH have been together for 9 Years and had that talk a lot. His mom wants us to have one right now. But I said after the wedding so I can buy a house and save some money. I just can't wait. Maybe a HM baby. I say whatever happens, happens.
