My wedding is in June '06 and I'll probably start looking into salons and stylists in the Hamptons during the summer. Just curious if a year would be too early? And do you get the trial to see if you like the person's work or only after you've decided on them and do it to test out styles?

Re: How early for a hair trial?
The more things you can crossed off your list, the better. It's never too late. You should definitely do trials with the person you think you would book.

i have to grow my hair out and i already have a stylist so im not going for my trial until like 2 weeks before! but go for it whenever you want! everyone seems to do everything really early nowadays and i definitely agree with the more things you can cross of the better!
