How faint is TOO faint???

I just took 2 tests - I am still a good 5-6 days away from AF. The first one was the faintest line you couldimagine - barely a line - more like half a line that you could barely see - even holidng it up to the light. The second test was BFN. What do you guys think??

A line is a line... no matter what you are producing some HCG. How soon after did you take the 2nd test? You may not have had enough built up in your system. Did you take one of those early tests? Id wait another 4-5 days and test again and get that BIG FAT positive line you are looking for

I did take one of those early tests - and I took the second one about 10 minutes later. I think I am just seeing what I want to see :

Nope you need to wait atleast 3-4 hours before peeing again. The HCG wont have enough time to build up in your bladder in 10 minutes. I say that if you are 5-6 days early and you got a VERY VERY faint line you are VERY VERY pregnant.

I agree with KP - a line is a line! The first test I took I thought I was seeing things too it was so faint! I took one 2 days later and the line was def. darker - Take a test first thing in the morning and the line will be a little darker.

Yep I agree with what has been said. A line is a line. You probably took the second test too soon. If you have the extra tests try tomorrow morning with your first pee and you'll probably get a darker line. Somtimes it takes a couple of days for a dark line.
