How far in advance did everyone book their honeymoon? i am going to tahiti and getting married in june 08...should i book it now or wait? help

We're getting married May 2007 and booked our HM this August. I would wait until at least a year or less. A lot of places (hotels) may not have pricing yet until after 2007.

We tried booking with over a year to go and we were told to wait. So we waited until 11 months before.

We are booking ours 11 months before. Travel agent told us that the prices for hotels are only up to 11 months.

We booked with 9 months left to go. You can't book your airfare more than a year in advance so I would wait for a while.

We did ours 11 months in advance because that was when we could book the airfare.

our wedding is July and the prices just came out for Hawaii hotels.
we are probably going to book the end of october so thats 9 months.

We tried to book Tahiti at the end of August and airfare is not available yet. We can't book until October!

We are going to Disney, and we are going to book ours next month, a year away. I think alot of hotels won't let you book til your date is a year away or less.

most of the time you are only able to get airfare booked less then 1 year from the date of return (thats what i found with continental... jet blue is 6-8 months before?) so i booked the day my airfares became available b/c there is only one flight there and one flight out a DAY so if our flight was overbooked, or sold out.. we were sc*rewd

we booked 10 months in advance and the prices literally just came out for Hawaii. So my guess is that the prices won't be out unilt at least a year before.
