How far long were you when you felt the baby move?
Did it feel like a wave? Am I overanalyzing everything at 14 and a half weeks? Do I have too much time on my hands to sit and wait for these feelings?

It's different for everyone. I was one of those 'late' bloomers when it came to feeling anything -- I think I was like 18-20 weeks. I think I felt something in the beginning, but I have no clue if it was gas or not.
Don't let everyone get to you with that. They make you nuts! And they will continue to do so throughout the pregnancy and after the baby is born!!

The first time I felt the baby move it definately felt like a wave across my belly. But I was closer to 20 weeks.

I was able to feel little movements around 16 weeks. It kinda felt like wave almost a vibration, it was hard to tell in the beginning, but it gets stronger each week!

With Emma I was about 16 weeks, this time it was at 13 weeks (I knew what I was feeling)
I felt full fledged kicks with both no later than 18-19 weeks

I think I was about 18 weeks. Around 20, I think my husband could feel him too when he kicked really hard.

I felt little flutters around 15 weeks, definite movement by 17-18 weeks.

It was like a ripple. Like a wave. I sat for half an hour before I posted waiting for more and nothing!!! My stomach was completely flat before the baby, and now I am all belly. I hope that's what it was!!!! I am going to try and relax and see if I feel it again later.

Sometimes right after you eat you can feel the baby more. Good luck and enjoy.

I felt my first few little movements around sixteen and a half weeks but was like.. Could it be already?!?! LOL...
The first time baby moves its usually more of a flutter... I know that doesnt help much cause you dont knwo if its like a butterfly kiss or a heart palpitation... and its not easily describable!! Cant type tonight-- anyway... If you take your fingers and gently tap them like pnky,ring,middle,pointer- softly five tiems in a row, thats what it felt like for me- kinda like that vibration... Hope that helps...

I felt movement at 14 weks. I was really skinny so my stomach was stretched enough to feel it. But it felt like little gas bubbles.
