my place showed me what was inculde and then a book of others i would have to pay extra 150 for ... or then i could also go to the barkey that makes them and talk to them ... i could just go threw them show them what i want and pay whatever they charge ..

My RH provides the cake through a bakery near them and from what I've seen, the selection is pretty good. In all actuality though, the cake is not that important to me. But the cake tasting that's a whole other story!!!

For us it is very important. Infact that was the first question I asked when visiting a RH, if we were able to bring in our own cake. We want a cake from colette peters. Some people don't want to spend extra money on the cake which is perfectly understandable, especially if its not a big deal for others.

The Wedding Cake to you?
I always wanted a kick azz cake and like most of us, my cake is included in the RH. I am sure it is still Yummy, but obviously not the best of the best so to speak.
I have been to so many Weddings where guests don't even touch the cake.
Would you ladies spend the extra $$ to get what you wanted?
If you have any questions about getting a cake from somewhere else let me know...For the wedding i def want to go with colette peters but for the e-party i was going to get a fondant cake, and i seriously called up almost every place in the city, looked at sites online and long island too. I decided not to get a fondant cake for the e-party, ill save that for the wedding, but i can give you info about the prices and bakeries.

Personally, I really don't care about the cake. Nine times out of ten people don't eat or talk about. Now....having a good time, eating and drinking up a storm is important to us.
However, if it's important to you, then I would spend a bit of $$$ but not crazy $$$ either.

The cake is pretty important to me...probably only because the whole cake cutting thing is a big deal and there'll be a bunch of pics taken with it, so I'd hate to have to look back at an ugly cake. We (I) pretty much designed our own cake and I'm really nervous to see how it comes out... I have a horrible feeling the baker will mess it up But then again I'm paranoid like that about most things that are out of my control

Not that important I have to say i hae been to about 6 or 7 weddings and dont remember any of there cakes i just remember the bride and groom wearing it
