FH has been involved in every aspect of the planning and he has had some good ideas. He even went dress shopping with me and the BP and has sat through 2 hair and makeup trials. The only thing I have to get him to do is chose the song that he uses when he dances with his mom.

we fight about things. he is more involved with some things than other things but i am the one researching all this time so i know better so when he says stupid things its so annoying and we fight. he is more excited about the marriage, the honymoon but not the wedding. and he is very nervous about the ceremony -standing up front, public speaking so he avoids that topic completely. not impressive. ... yet he is opinions on anything art related-stationary and the dj and photo but flowers, even the RH he was just like eehhh nice..

He's involved in all the decisions, but I'm the one doing the research, generating the ideas and keeping us somewhat on track.

Fh is invloved with everything. He was upset thought when we went to look at the bands cause he coulnd't come due to school. But he is very helpful with everything else.

FH is VERY involved in just about every aspect of our planning and I am so blessed to say so I could not do this without him as it is his wedding too!

I dunno, I guess you'd have to ask FW.
I feel like we've shared the load pretty well. I did a lot of the original research, because yes, I want the food, booze, and music to be great. But I also figured out photo and video (thanks in no small part to some awesome ladies on here) and started FW with research on transportation (special knowledge to sarahradio!). I also did a bit of research when it came to finding socially responsible options, something we both believe in very much. I went along on the flower appointments, but, more to get a vibe from the vendors.
I hope I haven't been too groomzilla. Unless we can't have woodford reserve at the party. then i'm going craaaaaazy.

My FH is pretty involved in everything, he does some research, makes appointments and all that. However, you just got engaged, which means your FH just got through all the stress of buying and engagement ring - I know my FH wanted a little break before doing all the wedding stuff, even if only to let his bank account build back up a little haha. Give him a little time, I'm sure he'll get more into it.

FH is involved with everything and does like it. It is our day and it should not just be about me, it is suppose to be about US, so I am glad that he likes to do the wedding thing with me. I love him so much!!!

I am so thankful and thrilled that my FH is so into helping plan everything - it takes alot of stress off of me, and it is something that should be done together - so we can look back on all these memories one day and say we did it together

VERY involved - he's been to every meeting and involved with every decision except my dress, BM dresses, etc.
Of course, he won't admit this, though. To be honest, he's very easy going and we haven't butted heads during the planning. We're usually both on the same page -- though I think sometimes he just doesn't have a strong opinion about the wedding stuff. The times he has, he's spoken up.
He's been awesome throughout the planning!

MY Fh is involved, but I have to tell him what to do. If I don't get on him about something specific, he'll do nothing.

it annoys me how into the wedding my fh is. I wish he was one of those typical guys not interested *sighs* he has opinions on everything.
only thing he won't say word about is flowers. or doesn't want to help with. it's nice and all but most of the time I just want another girl helping or just myself doing it.

thanks that made me feel a little better cause thats a good point...i started to do things so quick cause we wanted a popular date and soo many places and things are already booked then..but hes just not into it at all and its just fustrating me cause he'll tell me he cant go somewhere with me cause hes supposed to go to the gym lol but who knows maybe thatll change soon (hopefully!) lol

My fh is very involved. He's great and I love the fact that he is so involved b/c it makes this time more enjoyable than it already is and it is something that we will cherish forever!

FH up until a week ago could not have been less involved. This was until I lost my mind and went on a wedding planning strike. It seems to have helped. He is still not very involved but he has cut out all complaining. Thank god.

At first I thought I had a 'typical' groom and then we began to plan the engagement party and OMG...the groomzilla appeared!!
He's been out of town on a long term work assignment and one time I made a decision without running it past him and he threw a FIT...yeah that's right Mr. Nonchalant Groom was mad that I chose the favor boxes without him!!
Truth be told, I like him more this way. It really feels like we're in this together now and its really good....I still do what I want anyway...LOL
