We are cutting down on extra expences like eating out. I am also trying to pay down existing debt, so that the extra money will then go to the wedding.

well we both work the weekend and that is our spending money for the week. We know how much we need for our bills and everything else goes to saving.

My mom has had susu for years off and on. When I actually have steady income I will probably do that for wedding expenses and maybe to save up for a house. My mom's never had a problem with it.

budget budget budget!!! FH and I save X amount each month. Whatever we have left after spend for bills and a little fun. If we run out before the month is over, its ramen noodles for dinner!!! We have been good with renting movies instead of going to the movies, not eating out alot, etc.
Usually I have some left over in my account, so the night before I get paid I transfer EVERYTHING in my checking (down to a $1) to my savings. And internet savings is great - bc you can't access the funds with a debit card, so I put $$ in and don't take any out!

As soon as we got engaged we opened an account together. It is for the wedding and each paycheck we put in X amount.

We both have separate wedding accounts that we put money out of our paycheck and we have cut down alot on shopping and spending on unnecessary things. I bring my lunch to work except for Fridays.

as soon as we got engaged we merged our savings accounts together and that became our official wedding fund. each month FH makes the payments to the hall and I deposit into the fund. we're trying to cut corners every way we can - stopped eating out, no more shopping for me etc. but it's still hard. plus this year we have about 8 parties to attend - weddings, communions, confirmations etc. and i'm goin nuts thinking about all the money we have to shell out

We opened a joint account. We use my check to pay the bills and have a life, his check goes directly into savings, for our house fund and the wedding expenses.

We have a joint money market account. We take a certain amount from both of our paychecks and transfer that amount from our checking accounts to our money market account.

we are trying to save as much money as possible from every paycheck...it is nice that our tax returns are comming shortly...they will hopefully add a nice chunck toward our affair!

We opened up a joint savings account with Emigrant Direct at 5% interest. We put whatever $$ we can into that account. We are also not going on any vacations and cutting down on fancy dinners until the wedding

We have joint accounts and my paychecks go straight into savings and we use his money to pay the bills. It's been working so far! I also want to look into a CD at our bank.

We are putting a certain amount of $ out of each of our checks and my parents are matching it and we have it in a seperate 'wedding fund' account.

we opened a savings too at 4.9 percent.. ING Savings!!! They take money directly from your banks checking! we looove it!!!!!

Only limiting myself to $100/month of spending money. This includes shopping for clothes (although, I'm having the itch to shop REALLY BADLY!!!), lunch money, and some misc things. This of course, excludes gas money or rent!! It really *****, but I know it'll be worth it at the end!!!

I try to take out a certain amount of $$ out of my paycheck every week. I have 2 seperate bank accounts at 2 different banks. It's working well so far.
