i put away half of my pay check and his in a separate acct, and all of our tax return money goes in there too.

We opened up a joint account when we got engaged. We each put a certain amount of money in it from our pay checks each week.

we are terrible w/ saving, for the wedding, we're saving for our & the expences that come with it, ..we've been paying as we go for the wedding and all that comes with it

I'm doing it the old fashion way!!!

OVERTIME!!! and also putting money aside from each paycheck.....also cutting out the spending money on useless stuff and shopping!!!

We opened a joint checking/savings account and we each deposit a set amount each week. We also put in 1/2 of each of our tax refunds and deposit any gifts we receive.

How are you guys saving $$ for the wedding? Like, are you putting aside X amount from paychecks and cutting down on dinners outside, or investing $$ somewhere?

Im putting money aside from my paychecks, cutting down on dinners and gifts to FH, and also gonna invest some money in short-term CD's
