So ladies, how is your mom/fmil doing with her dress shopping? I'm having so much trouble with this and really have to order ASAP! I've seen a few I like, but I'm just not sure what look to go for...

Nope, just walk in. If this dress does not work for her, they have about 1000 to choose from

Nope, just walk in. If this dress does not work for her, they have about 1000 to choose from Oh yes of course she will try on plenty .. she will probably be harder to find a dress for then I was.

My mom bought a dress that was disc @ David's for $40, but I don't think she is gonna wear it. And my FMIL is thinking of having a dress made and I'll post a pic of my stepmom's dress. She got the dress in lilac it compliments her.

Very well... she got her dress recently!
She saw it at a dress store on Long Island but it was a lot of $$ so we called Carole at Burton's to see what she could do for us... She saved us a CONSIDERABLE amount of money!! So, my Mom was delighted and bought it.
Then, it came in and she went to try it on to make sure it fit correctly and that it was the right dress and all that jazz. Here are some pics:
