How is everyone's planning going??? What did you girls get accomplished over the summer and what do you still have to do? 2004 is right around the corner!! YAY for us 04 brides!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been having so much fun so far - it's actually been super easy. Maybe b/c I have a lot still left to do?! We're almost at the 1 year mark...we have the photographer, reception & ceremony site, band, my dress , veil & shoes...the BM dresses are picked, searching for florists now...next will be invites...researching the HM late this year, early next year. FH will get the tuxes around June/July...limos sometime next year, I guess - there's only 1, for me, my dad & BMs. (Unless FH wants one for him & his GM) I guess it's just the little, personal touches that are left.

I've booked my ceremony/reception and we're going to meet with a DJ tomorrow. That's it.

This is the one topic I hate to see, simply because I have nothing done yet. We are getting married June 26 and all we have is the hall & Church. And my FI seems to think that this wedding is going to plan itself!!!
But we are going to meet with photographers next week and in 2 weeks I am going to look for my dress and at the end of september we are going to look at DJs. So hopefully we will get some stuff under wraps soon!

Updated to add that I've got my ceremony/reception booked and I booked my DJ.

I have to do EVERYTHING else. Luckily, October is a long way away!

I am happy to say almost all is done. The only thing left to do is to get my **** it in undies and crinolin,hair and makeup trial, calligraphy, table arrangments, and to pick out the food!!! I am so happy it is almost all done!

we have to get in the GM gifts & the toasting flutes/knife set & unity candle - all have been ordered but not yet delivered.

The invites for over the puddle will be sent out in 3 weeks, the rest in October.

The rough draft of th eseating arrangement is begining to come together, and the GM are getting fitted for their tuxes by the end of this week.

The favors need to be assembled & the billboards & menus need to be printed.

....and of course, the payments need to be made
