Overall, my MIL and I have a very good relationship. Minor things bother me and I am sure her but I love her for raising her such a wonderful son, and she said she has never seen him as happy as he is with me.

it's very good actually - there's always little things but nothing major
same here. my FMIL is very sweet and kind hearted. there are hiccups here and there, but for the most part, I consider myself very lucky!

I don't know my FMIL very well, but FFIL and his girlfriend and I all get along extremely well!
again, minor things, but nothing crazy!

We have a good relationship...not great just good. We have never had any conflicts, etc., and of course I have the utmost respect for them bc they raised such a wonderful man. However, they are not my parents (who I am super close to). I compare them to my parents alot (in my head), which I know is bad of me but I just cannot help it.
Same here I feel excactly the same I am so close with my parents and FH is really becoming close with my parents too closer than I am with his family.

I am extremely close with my FIL. My FMIL and I are so close that it's scary. We go shopping together, we could talk for hours, she complains to me about her FILs (lol), we make fun of my FH (lol again), and we are just very, very close. I am completely comfortable with them. (For example, we are all sitting at the dinner table last weekend and talking about how how both FFIL and FH don't seem to care about stinking up the bathroom, ). FH feels the same way with my family. In fact, when we came to NY last month, FH was at my parent's house, watching boxing with my dad, and I was at the mall with FMIL trying to scam free makeup trials from the makeup counters.

Well, we've had our ups and downs, not always seeing eye to eye, but I've come to the realization that because our two families are just sooo different, his very conservative and mine very liberal we will always see things differently.. which is interesting because most of our core values are very similiar, but every now and then we butt heads
