How long.....

does it take to register? I'd like to do BBB & Macy's in one day.

It took us 3 hours in BBB. But we both live at home and have absolutely nothing in terms of anything for a house.

We did it in two days. It only took several hours at both stores but we were so overwhlemed that we felt it was best to take a break. Good Luck!

I only registered in store at BBB and it took a long time and I was very tired after we finished. I did my Macy's and Crate and Barrel registries online and it was so much better. I could take my time and didn't feel rushed.

you might have had enough after one store----it's time consuming and gets annoying after a while!

We took almost three hours in Fortunoff where we put the majority of our stuff on and about two in Macys. It's very tiring and FH was getting very annoying after the excitement of using that scanner gun wore off.

I think it depends! Do you already know what you want (basically)? Are you a quick decision maker, and know what you like.... or do you like to shop around?

I had a basic idea of what I wanted when I went, and I'm a fairly quick decision maker when it comes to these kinds of things... so we did Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn in one day without a problem... and another day did Bed Bath and Fortunoff

with dh (who is a big child) and my son in tow, i only was there 30 minutes. i did the rest online. i couldn't take it any longer than that.

it all depends on how long it takes for you to shop I pretty much walked around as if I was doing some shopping.

We thought we'd do both in one day too...if you do it on a Sat/Sun it's possible...we found BB&B took HOURS and we still modified it a lot and added stuff online...and it wore us out, we couldn't have imagined going somewhere else afterward

We mostly just did China, Crystal, Flatware and Bedding at Macy's and once you decide on a pattern you can just write down the # and they can add it in at the desk which goes pretty quickly

If you start online and get a sense of what you like and any themes you'd want to stick to, then you'll find it much easier to navigate around the store. I'm SO glad I searched around online first and added some things on the computer, b/c by the time we actually went to the store it only took us about an hour and a half. I already had an idea of what colors/styles they had
