how long

will a rh hold a date for us w/o a deposit??
we think we found our place but still have a few more places to check out

also any tips on negotiating prices and vh?? some places told me they would throw in the vh for free and the place we want said its $17.50 pp

I don't thin RHs hold anything without a deposit, I think of someone else was to come along and put $$ down on your date the RH will take their money.

If you feel like you still want to go take a look at a few more places try to do it within a weeks time so hopefully your date will still be open.

Yea when I went to Giorgio's I said how long do you hold the date he basically said straight out if someone comes in and wants the date and puts a deposit he's going to take it.

Most places don't hold anything without a deposit as the other girls mentioned. If someone else comes in with a deposit they will give it to them.

Ask for the RH to give you a courtesy phone call if someone else wants to book your date so you have the opportunity to book first.

Right, they won't hold it, but maybe you can get 'the right of first refusal' if someone else comes in. The problem is that the different BM's all need to know that . . . . could be risky.

I've been to a few places who said they'd hold it, but straight out said that if someone else came and was ready to book , they'd take it...
