How long.....

is your reception?? I'm going to a wedding next month and the reception is 8-1am. Made me think....ours is 8-12am. The extra hour doesnt sound too bad though cause I always hear how the night flies by so quickly.....

Ours is 4 hours but we have the option of adding an extra hour on to it, even if we decide to do it that day.

Ours is 7:30-12:30...

We went to the showcase at Lombardi's on the sound last night, which was 2 1/2 hours, and it went really fast. At the end of the night FH said to me 'If this was our wedding, it'd be half over by now'. He said it to justify not spending a lot of money naturally, but I started to panic!

7pm to 12pm (we decided against the extra hour) we are doing an after party at the hotel. LONG NIGHT! lol

We added an extra half hour so it is from 7-12:30. I didn't want it to be too long and have people want to leave.

Mine is a regular 4 hr reception. I wish I had the money to add more time... but afterparty at the hotel will have to do!

Our reception will be 4 hours (8pm-12am) but our CH is an hour and a half... so the guests would be at the RH from 6:30-12.

Also, we are getting married at my church at 3:30 so if you count the number of hours from start to finish, it's going to be a very long day. I would be too tired to extend the night with an after-party or VH.
