FH wants to do 7 days, six nights because its a LITTLE bit cheaper but I want to do 8 days, 7 nights.....
I dont know why this is bothering me so much!

go for as long as you can. We went for 10 days and by the 3rd day we already were thinking about extending it.

We are going away for 16 days for our HM but two of the days are really going to be spent traveling.

We are doing 10 days. We were going for less, but to go all the way to Hawaii for any shorter time seemed silly. FH has to take 1 non-paid vacation day to do it though.

We are going for 10 days. I wanted to go for 2 weeks, and FH for one so we compromised. We're going to France (3 different cities) so any shorter didn't really make sense to me.

we are going way for 8 days..7 nights....we wanted longer but that was the only flights that were connected w/ no overlays...so thats we settled for.

Go for as long as you possibly can!!! This may be one of the only times you both can get off for a long time together! I don't know your work situations, but it can be hard to get a full week, or two, or three off at a time!! We both made sacrifices and took off the week before the wedding, and then 11 days for the honeymoon, and then the weekend off after we got back. We knew we may never be able to take off for that long for awhile. It was great being off the week before the wedding, and in retrospect, with my wedding I couldn't have done it any other way. It was great having each other that whole time, and at the end I feel truly blessed to have had 3 whole weeks off together, it was amazing. So I say 8 nights, or as long as you can girl!!! We are going to Hawaii - Oahu, Kauai and Maui. FH and I both have lots of vacation time since we've been at our jobs forever. Plus, we want to get pregnant ASAP so this may be our last big trip for a while.

8 days 7 nights. It was originally supposed to be 10 days 9 nights but the original flight we booked got canceled so it was either add 2 days or take 2 away. We were looking for a way to trim the budget a bit so we went with taking away. I wasn't happy with the idea but it did take a lil pressure off so I guess it worked out for the best.

Though we are married now, we still haven't booked anything. Other than me still waiting for my passport, some health issues put the planning off. SO when we do finally get around to it, I'm only planning on going for 4 nights. I get a lot of vacation time but he does not
