How long after the wedding are you going to start having babies?
LOL ok I keep posting pre-maturely so just post your answer!
I keep saying we are going to wait at least 1 year if not 2, but fmil thinks I am going to get preggers on the honeymoon...ya never know! I really want kids, I cant wait

I think were going to try to hold out on kids for 1 year or 2. We want to enjoy living together

I want to wait at least 1.5 years but we will have to see how things go - I will already be in my mid thirties by the time I get married.

If my fiance had his way, I would be pregnant BEFORE the wedding. Lol. So I would say we aren't going to wait very long

Ya have to wonder if these GYNS would have preferred that us older brides NOT wait until we were married and ALL have kids out of wedlock to avoid problems in the future. Why do they need to remind us? I READ ya know!

We will be trying ASAP! We'll actually once we get home from the honeymoon. I want to drink some wonderful island drinks!!!!!

I'm in my early 30's, but I want to enjoy being married for a while, and once you have kids your life is no longer your own, and it's not exactly something you can take back or change your mind on once it's done.
So with that in mind, I want to wait at least a year to a year and a half after the wedding, (I'll be 32 - 33 by then) but I want to have the second child by the time I'm 36, and then call it a day!!

Well, I'm so old, my gyn actually DID suggest getting pregnant before the wedding when I told him I was getting married. All I wanted to do was have a conversation about stopping BC and how long to wait before trying once I had stopped. Now, (second visit since getting engaged) he is talking about fertility drugs!!!

AT LEAST five years...i'm 25, he's 30...we want to enjoy being a married couple, do some traveling, settle into our careers, etc...
