How long after the wedding are you going to start having babies?

LOL ok I keep posting pre-maturely so just post your answer!

I keep saying we are going to wait at least 1 year if not 2, but fmil thinks I am going to get preggers on the honeymoon...ya never know! I really want kids, I cant wait

I'd like to wait maybe 4-5 years. Just turned 28 and we are SO not ready to have kids. We love visiting with our niece and nephews but at the end of the day they go home!

well i'll be 23 and FH will be 22 when we get married so we're going to wait about 3-5 years..but i love babies so i dunno if that's actually going to hold up..

AT LEAST five years...i'm 25, he's 30...we want to enjoy being a married couple, do some traveling, settle into our careers, etc...

same -but we are both 28- so when I am 32- 33

we want to enjoy being together

I went to visist my friend who has a 7 month old this weekend- things will never be the same

As soon as we have a house and living comfortably. I'm not getting any younger though. So, I'm hoping sooner than later.

Well I am 21 and he is 24, so we were thinking probably like 6 years....We want to be ready financially and maturity wise...

I'll be 25 and FH will be 28 when we're married. Ideally we want to wait about 2-3 years, and enjoy married life (since we don't live together yet) but like FH says if it happens sooner it happens sooner. I love kids and can't wait to be a mom.

FH and I will be 26 a few months from 27. The plan is 3-5 years, enjoy living together for the first time, travel, go out etc...he has a 6 mo old nephew who feeds the baby bug. We both know that we may have a year to ourselves and decide that that's enough...no rush-not waiting either.

I know that I want to have a good idea when I want to start so I can start with vitamins 6 months before- my friends in the med field all say that you want the vitamins in your system already when you get pregnant-thought that was a good tip to share! Good luck to everyone for happy healthy children, whenever they happen!

Probably 2-3 years , but if it happens sooner, great... I want to be a mom but I would like some time to just be a wife too

I am 25...FH is 30...so not for another 3 years, we want a house and to be stable money wise.... I want to be totally ready, and I work with babies everyday and I am so not ready! :D

2 years would be nice. We are both 25, so we can wait. We want to travel a bit, and buy a house. We are not in any kind of rush. A baby is a big responsiblity, I think we will start with a dog.

I have enough neices and nephews to ward off any sudden urges, after a day with them it's like instant birth control

At first my FH wanted an 'oops' on the honeymoon...but I want time with him. I'll be 2 months shy of 24 when we get married, and he'll be 2.5 months shy of 29, so we are comfortable with waiting until I'm about 28/29. When he finally realized that I will most likely have twins (both sides, skipping generations, lands on me....and in school I drew twins on marshmallow babies, and flowersack babies...its in the cards), he decided that waiting isn't such a bad thing!

Right away - FH and I have been together for 8 yers - I'm 24 (25 in May) and hes gonna be 26 in March so i like that ge if that makes sense - we're just basically gonna stop 'protecting' ourselves when we get to the HM and let nature do its thing :)
