I waited until we went dress shopping for me to as my MOH - which was probably a month or two after I got engaged

- she just thought she was taggin along

- I asked her before we went in to try some on!!
She cried. I cried. It was great

The rest of the BP followed shortly as I was too excited!!

My MOH which is my FSIL I asked the night we got engaged, I knew that she was the one, I have grown so close to her in the last five years.. It is so nice to finally have a sister..

The day we got engaged we went out to dinner with my family and FH asked my brother to be his best man & i asked my sister in law to be my MOH. The only other girl that knows is my cousin I didn't 'officially' ask her I want to do special somehow---and I asked FSIL--I am holding off because I might just stick to three---a lot can happen in a little less in two years.......there is a little confusion on some people's part about who is going to be in it....so i'm avoiding that as long as possible!!!

I pretty much asked my girls within the first week of when we were engaged. I asked my MOH right away but that is because we both knew she would be the one

There is no time limit on this though especially if it's going to be a difficult decision.

I don't plan on asking my bridal party for at least a couple of months. I have time because I am an 04 bride. I am so confused as to who to ask to be my MOH. I have two sisters that I love, a cousin that I grew up with that is like sister, and a best friend that I also love like a sister (we have been inseparable since junior high.)

Well, my sisters knew automatically that they would be part of my bridal party.
I asked about 6 months after that.

I waited a six months. First I settled on a date which took about three months...then we decided on a bridal party. We had some hard decisions to make and we knew we had a year and half engagement so we kind of waited.
