I only have 2 MOH's and 2 flower girls. I asked my MOH's within the same week of getting engaged. I actually think it was 2 days after!! I didn't want to wait at all!!!

Within one month! There was some confusion about who should be in, but we wanted to hammer it out soon! My friend who got engaged before me is getting married around the same time and is waiting 6 months before she says anything...

MY FI and I took 3 months to get our acts together and find a reception place - so right after we booked, we asked so a little less than a year before the wedding.

Altough my sister is my MOH, I asked her immediately!

I asked people when I saw them over the next few months. My sisters (MOHs) I asked right away.

Al took about 6 months to ask all his guys.

Well I have VERY mixed feelings on my MOH..

Everyone else is fine.. I think we have TOO many!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me started - I was waiting for FH to decided and finally gave up and asked everyone about 3 months after. Christmas will be one year we are engaged and FH STILL HAS NOT ASKED EVERYONE!!

Can you tell I'm a little annoyed???

6 months. Only because we got engaged in December and I have a HUGE BP and had a BBQ in June for them and surprised them all at once. It was a nice get together.

We got engaged in April. My sister got me a card that day and signed it 'your maid of honor' but I didn't offically ask her until two weeks ago. And my best friend is my other MOH. As for the rest of the wedding party we're waiting until after the holidays. I was having problems with a friend of mine and didn't want to ask her. So we figured better to wait then to have to ask her not to be in it.

My girls pretty much all knew - so I don't remember doing any 'official' asking. We would talk wedding stuff and I would say 'your BM dresses' or something like that - they kinda knew.
