went looking for the first time about 3 weeks after we got engaged, and I found my dress in the 2nd place we went. I kept looking for another week or so, but I knew that was it. We ordered it a few weeks later.

my engagement was only 10 months, and they said my dress would take 7 months to come in, so I had no time to spare (but it came in 4 months)

I bought my dress 6 months after we got engaged. I looked at 2 stores but it took me 3 months to find the one. What a relief that was!

We got engaged last April and I started looking in January and still looking!

Got engaged Feb. 14th. I have my dress in my closet. LOL. I went to 3 or 4 stores and when I put it on....I was glowing! Done!

We got engaged January 2002.

I was always kinda looking around on the net. I tried on a few in David's right after getting the ring. Started really trying on dresses October 2002.

I actually found it I think in November/December 2002 accidentally. I ran to RK on my lunch hour (yes I'm obsessed!) to try a few dresses on & I HATED my dress when I saw it in the online pic but tried it on cuz they had it in my size & fell in love with it! Just ordered it last Saturday!!

I tried on dresses in about 5 different stores, from here to Pennsylvania, before I found 'the One'

we got engaged January...i started looking the end of February...ordered it this week...they say 8 months, but i doubt it from what i hear.

I ordered my dress ayear after we became engaged 6 months before the wedding

I started looking 3 months after my engagement (9 months prior to the wedding). I looked in about 7 different shops and tried on about 30 dresses before I found the one.

I got engaged last April and did not go shopping yet for my dress! My sis is coming next week from out of state so we can go.
