Next day. Im getting married sunday of columbus day weekend and we'll be leaving on monday.

My wedding is a Sat. nite and we want to have Sunday as a sleep-in!! We'll be leaving Monday

2 days after. I wanted to spend the next day with family and friends who are going so far to be with us!

We waited a week.


We took off Thrus, Friday before the wedding and Monday after ..... then left on that following Saturday. It was GREAT

No need to pack for honeymoon while stressing for the wedding.
Time to drop off the tuxes ourselves (biggie for me)
Time to put my dress up, myself (again biggie for me)
Time to bring home the gifts and put them away.
Time to open the cards and deposit checks (which cleared BEFORE our honeymoon)
Time to pack what we needed instead of rushing.

We are leaving the next day. Only because of the cruise schedule.

Haven't officially booked the HM yet, but we are hoping to leave Tuesday...we are getting married Saturday night.

We are getting married the Sun. before Memorial Day and are leavin for our HM the next morning (mem. day).

That is just excellent. I guess we get to stretch it even more because we're not leaving for a couple of weeks.

We got married on a Saturday night and left for the airport a few hours later - early Sunday morning. It was a little rough, but we slept on the plane and I was glad to start our HM as soon as possible. I would definitely have done it that way again.

I got married on saturday and left for my honeymoon on tuesday. It was great because we were so refreshed before we left. I would recommend waiting a day or two before you leave for your honeymoon.

It may be a week or so. The school calendar for 2005-2006 isn't available yet (I'm a teacher), and we are leaving when spring break begins.
