Do you think we should have our shower??? How close is too close? Mine is supposed to be a surprise but I want to through hints at them because I dont want it soooo close to the wedding.

Mine is 1/22 and my wedding is 3/26. So 2 months before for me.

I've been to bridal showers that were about 3 months before the wedding, my one friend who is getting married in late march just had hers in the beg of novemebr though, so its totally up to you!

I have read many times that any time within the 6 months prior to the wedding is socially acceptable.
It looks like mine will be February 26 for my June 25 wedding.

I don't think it matters except that it shouldn't be too soon before the wedding, especially if enough people would have to come from out of town for both.

Agreed- since the wedding is in NY for me, we are doing the shower here in DC so it is close to FH's family. We had talked about doing 2, but I'll just invite the NYers (it is over February Break), and if they don't attend, then that's ok.
