We'd like to wait a year or two... there is so much we'd like to do before we have a baby. We want to travel and just enjoy married life first... then we will start popping them out! LOL

we were going to wait until we had bought a house before trying, but after having a really great discussion this weekend, we decided that we are going to start trying NOW

we both have serious baby fever, and DH really wants at least one baby before he's 40 (he'll be 39 in a few months). hopefully we'll be able to find a house before we actually have the baby, but if not, we have enough space for us, kitty, and the baby. it just seemed silly to us to put things on hold only because we didn't have a larger space.

I've finally come around a realized what the hell am I waiting for, so hopefully sooner than later!

OH man, no clue. We go back and forth- well maybe I go back and forth. Part of me wants to start on the HM cuz you never know how long it could take but FH is skeptical b/c we live in a 1 bedroom apt, talk about moving etc. I said lets start now, so I can have a maternity leave and then we can move. who knows....

If it were up to only FH, we would've had one a year ago!!! Sometimes I think he has baby fever more than me!!

But as a cancer survivor, I have a million health issues, and THANKFULLY, last Thursday, my late effects doctor just gave us the green light that I'm healthy enough to try to conceive!!!!!! We actually found this out on the same day that my first nephew was born!!! We're waiting until after the wedding, but I'll be 35 in February, and I don't want to wait too much longer.

I'm a teacher, and many of my coworkers are pregnant, or just had their babies. Then last fall, my sister and BIL announced they were trying, and she got pregnant within a few months. Then in June, my friend/bridesmaid announced her pregnancy, so....... FH and I have babies on the brain lately!!!

as for the 'waiting until the time is right' thing...

With TTC & babies....if you wait until the timing is perfect...you may never wind up trying. I'm not saying that everyone shouldn't wait...believe me, but just know that nothing in life is EVER going to be perfect..and you also have no idea how long it will take to 'happen'. It takes, on average, a healthy couple a year to get pregnant (quote from my doc). Even if you have 'relations' on the right days, every month for a year, your odds are still only 50/50.

For Dave & I - we have our ages going against us....we're not at gun-point yet, but he's 38 and i'm 33 1/2...and you hit the 'high risk' category at 35.

Sheesh - i wanted to start trying the minute we were engaged...

We were originally planning on this Aug. (which means now ) But we decided to wait a year. We own a one bedroom co-op right now, but would really like to buy a house before we have a baby. We'll see how things go. We both have baby fever!!!

So glad to hear that the doctor gave you the green light. There is nothing more scary than cancer. Glad to hear that you are ok, and hopefully you will be a mommy soon!

We dont wish to have kids
