We want to wait at least a year...anyone else waiting or are you going to try right away?

I am 36 so I want to start right away. FH wants to wait A FEW YEARS. He thinks we have all the time in the world!

I have a 10 and 12 year old (who will be a teen by the end of the year) from a prior marriage. I am nearing 40 soon though and FH wants one of his own. He has none and was never married b4. I know how much it means to him but to start again when I have independence now. I also miss them that small too and they live with their dad. I told FH that he will have to get as many jobs as nec to support the baby then, since that is my biggest concern and I already pay child support to the ex.

Probably two years. We'd like to just be married for a while. We want to travel and fix up our house first. But if things don't go acording to plan, that's ok too.

I know what you mean -- my kids are 15 and 12. They live with me but they have a very involved dad.
I wasn't thrilled at first about starting over again but FH whole-heartedly accepts and loves my children and it would only be fair to give him one or two of his own. If he decides he doesn't want any (some days he leans toward this) I would be okay with it but a big part of me wants to have a little boy that looks just like him.

we r waiting at least 5. years..i know is alot but DH is into the dentistry n he wants to specialize n ev erythin.. plus i want enjoy time with him while we can..
