We got engaged exactly 1 month before our 3rd anniversay.
We've know for a long time that we wanted to get married, but IMO I thing its always wise to wait tiell you really get to know iach other, heck at least wait tillyou have had your first major fight, so you know how your relationship with stands when its not all rosey.

um 5 years but
we met in 98 i was 17
got engaged in 03 i was 23

and i will be 25 in december lol

He proposed the day before my 26th birthday, and we were together for a year and a 1/2!!

I always thought 3 years but my FH supised me at 2 1/2 years which was perfect. when were married it will be about 4 years :)

We were dating a little under three years - he proposed to me on our 1000 day of dating - yes, he counted!!

We were dating less than four months. It was in the heat of puppy love. But I insisted we wait a while so we had almost a four yr engagement!

7 years and 3 months until we got engaged...then 8 years and 7 months until we got married! LOL

We had be dating for 6 and a half years...but we have been dating since I was 15! So, I was a little young. I needed to finish college and get my career started.
