If you are having a ceremony how long did they tell you it would be? I'm having a dilema because my wedding is a full mass at 3:00. I found out there is another wedding at the church starting at 2:00! but they are only having a ceremony so the priests are telling us they will be done and out by 2:45.... I don't think this is possible. I think my guests will be showing up and the other wedding will be ending or they will be taking pictures outside. what do you think?

If it's a ceremony it shouldn't be longer than 30 minutes tops... the only thing that would worry me about it is the receiving line after if the couples before you does one and the setup time for your ceremony (if you are having flowers delievered or you need to do any other kind of preparations)

hmm. are you decorating the church? that seems to be an awfully close schedule that your florist would have to be super speedy in doing your decorations.

A non-mass ceremony is generally about a half hour.

We are def doing bows on some of the pews... I think someone from my family will set them up quick. Im still up in the air about getting flowers from the florist for the church. Maybe now I just wont so I dont have to worry about it!

yeah if you are just doing a few bows on the pews than I don't think you need to worry.

Re: How long is a church 'ceremony'?
Just a ceremony is half an hour and a full mass should be an hour. My church does and hour and a half between weddings so there's plenty of time.
you should be fine
