Re: How long is your train???
Yeah I tried both on... The only thing holding me to the demetrios gown still is that it is long sleeves and my arms are heavy so that would cover it up..The la sposa gown is really pretty and has a lot of bead work on the top and not that much on the bottom which is fine but it is also like a short sleeve my mom is thinking to buy extra fabric with the gown and make a longer sleeve with it (she is a dressmaker) she can visualize these things and I have a hard time with that.. The bustier type top made me feel skinner too..
Both gowns are going to end up around the same price I got quoted 1110 for the demetrios gown from pearls place with $12 shipping and no tax and the La Sposa is $900 but I am goign to have to get it from a salon since they only carry it in a few places so with tax and everything they are going to be about the same cost.

Re: How long is your train???
Mine is cathedral, but not sure if it is considered Royal cath or not. it is very looong. But with this said, for those with cathedral trains, are you having a cathedral veil as well?
I always loved and wanted a cath veil, but it did NOT look good with my dress considering the train is extra long. I felt it was taking away from the dress. I decided to go with the mid-length veil..

Re: How long is your train???
My is a royal cathedral train but I am wearing a shoulder length veil because I do not want to take away from the dress or the train.

Yes same here. Hits little below the butt.
Nylisa - that's how I felt considering my train has a lot of scallop and embroidery. The cath train was hiding it. But i am happy with my decision.
