Interested in knowing how long or short people were able to put their wedding together. For me.. come this October, we would have been engaged for about 20 1/2 months. Would you have preferred a longer or shorter engagement? Or was it just right?

we have been engaged now for just over 2 years! to tell you the truth i wanted it only to be a year at the most but now i relize things happen for a reason and i am glad i waited!

By the time we get married we will be engaged about 2 1/2 years. I thought it was just right since we saved for the wedding and did alot of extra things and had time to do it all.

we dated for 3/12 years before we got engaged & were engaged for 7 months (actually it was almost 8 months)

By the time we get married it will be 2 years but I did not start to really plan till this past October

We will have been engaged for 2 years and 2 months by the time we get married. It is the perfect length of time for us because I have been having a hard time planning while a full time student. It is also the perfect point in my graduate program to get married.

By the time we get married we will have been engaged for 27 mos For us, it was just right b/c I wanted to finish law school and take and pass the NY Bar exam w/o having to think about a wedding. Plus we were able to book things in 2002 and get 2002 prices vs. getting 2004 prices.

10 months engaged by time of wedding. Booked hall and started really planning this past July.

By the time the wedding date rolls around, it will be a year and a half. I wouldn't want it any other way.

by the time we get married, we'll have been engaged for 3 years and 2 days. which is a looooooong time, but for financial reasons we decieded 2006 was the most feasible, JMO, there is no time to long or to short, whatever is right for you
