How long must I wait before the carnage begins!

More than 30% of my invitees have not RSVP's. my date was Monday 3/6...when is it acceptable to start killing people....

funny...I just thought of myself as a big 'Bridezilla' trampling most of greater Brooklyn...:firebreathinglizardicon:

I was there ladies...I final got all my rsvps THE DAY I GAVE IN MY FINAL COUNT AND PAYMENT.

You just have to call/email/harass people.

I really don't know why this is so hard for some people.

I was told by many that you will get a lot of them the week AFTER your RSVP date, because most people believe their last day to MAIL it is the RSVP date.

This is true! You may commence with the killings Monday, March 13.

I hear ya! My RSVP was today (8th) and im still waiting on about 10 couples.... Is it hard to fill out your name and a number.. drive to mail box and drop it in.. I mean Girls, we even provided stamps!! UGGHHHHH

My RSVP date was March 1. Still waiting to hear from about 15 people.

Kelly, how are you doing with your minimum now?

I just can't understand some people! One of the couples lives in fh's BUILDING!

We are about 25 short of the minimum. The hall is working with us, thankfully. They said to wait until 2 weeks before the wedding for the exact head count, then we'll figure out what we can get with the 'extra' money we're paying.

my FMIL started calling BEFORE the RSVP date. I'm pretty much done now, but there are people who just never sent it in but verbally told us.

I think it's def. time to start calling!

I just started semi-harassing people via email and instant messenger.....LOL

A few people didn't realize that the RSVP was already a few days away!! I'm like yeah, time flies, people!!

Then I have 2 people who haven't RSVP'd because they used to date each other (I hooked them up) but broke up 2 months ago, so they're not sure if they can face each other. Argh!!!

Mine is next Tuesday and I only have 9 in...okay so I mailed them out a little late but that don't mean you're not supposed to respond on time. What is the matter with people??!!!

Oh hell no The local invites were hand delivered and they STILL cannot get them back to you

We are still missing like 20 people at this point. FH called and harrassed his family members along with one of his aunts and my sister and cousin did my list.

If I do not have an answer by the time the final payment is due, they are going down as a no. If they show up they will just have no seat and the DOC will make them feel like an azz by reminding them that they have no seat since they did not send in the RSVP or respond to the messages left by one of he 4 delinquent RSVP callers.

One couple is in CA and another in Texas so I doubt they are coming but they both had weddings (one at Fox Hollow) so they know that I need the RSVP or at least a yes/no by phone

Look at my avatar...I'm keeping count!

ETA: Family - typical...but why can't the BRIDAL PARTY RESPOND????????????
