I'm wondering how long you should be of the pill b/4 you TTC?

My dr and my friend's dr said different things. Some drs say you can start a month later and some suggest you wait a couple of months.

My Dr said I could start TTC right after going off the pill. He said you are more fertile the first month or 2 after going off the pill.

I just came back from my DR.'s appt where we just discussed this. He told me there are 2 answers...
1- the lawyers: wait 3 months after the pill b/f TTC- reason is b/c the pill companies do not want anyone to blame them for anything that could go wrong.
2- the DR's answer: you can TTC anytime! He said that research shows that there is no correlation to the amount of time waiting after going off the BC and any problems- pregnancy or to the baby. He said there has been studies and risks are not increased if you conceive right after going of BC
I hope this helps.
Personally, I have been off BC for 1 month now and will probably wait to TTC until Dec, but that's not because of the risks, just trying to time things right so I can take next school year off!
