i'm also an '08 bride. we have the date, but that's pretty much it. we just started looking at halls. i wanna book as much as possible asap to get 06 prices if possible.

Congrats to both of you and welcome!! You will see that this site is very addicting!! Definately try to get things booked so you can get the 06 prices. Remember to check the different postings often cuz there's lots of great advice! It is also an awesome place to rant! Have fun!

I am an 08 bride. I got engaged June 3, 2006. So far I have been to a few places to hold the reception, but nothing is grabbing me yet.
We are having our engagement party on Aug. 5th. Some may say it is too soon, but with the wedding so far from here, we wanted to share the excitement!

Also, I do know a DJ that is great. I have been to his performances. he really cares about making the occasion special. He did a great job.
His name is Victor and the number is 631-698-2903. I can not remember the name of the company at the moment. But it doeant hurt to price. i am using him for my wed.

May 30, 2008 here! We've already booked the reception (East Wind), DJ (Knights Entertainment), Photographer (Marco Photography) and we have our wedding bands. So most of the big stuff is out of the way and I still have 693 days!

Congrats and welcome! I see that was your first post. You will find this site very helpful and fun! I am so psyched that I am officially at the less than 2 years mark...727 days! I feel like after this Christmas, it will go fast because then it will only be about a year and a half.

YAY!!.. Another 2008 bride right here!!.. March 8th, 2008!.. I booked my church and reception.. St Patricks in Smithtown and the Watermill!!.. I have appointments set up as well to meet with Tommy Tunes for the Dj and then ADA studios as a photogropher!.. so we will see!!.. <3
You should check out In THe Mood DJ they are like 2 min away from the watermill and do an excellent job!

2008 right here... Sept to be exact. We just started looking at place last weekend but nothing yet. We're looking at three this weekend and I'm so excited becuase I have a feeling that we'll be seeing 'the one'!!!!
