My SIL told me that when I go dress shopping I will 'KNOW' when I find 'THE' dress. She said hers was the first one she tried on

I thought I was going to, but then I was convinced to try on other styles....and turns out they were much more flattering on me.

the first dress i saw
but it was on some other whoo-ahhh LOL so i didn't get it on until she decided to take it off (about an HOUR later)... so then i tried it on but i knew it was the one right away.

My bf was my consultant at the bridal store so she made me try on like 3 or 4 others before i tried on the one that I had printed out as my #2 choice and brought with me. The others were nice but when I put on my dress I knew it before I even saw myself in it. When it was zipped I said 'this is my dress' then i opened the door and my mom said 'That's ur dress'
It was love at 1st site

Between all the stores..I tried on 50 plus dresses.
But the second I bumped myself a little over the edge in price and went to Kleinfelds...it was love at first sight!!!

i DID LOVE THE FIRST DRESS I TRIED ON, BUT IT WAS LITTERALLY A COUPLE OF DOZEN DRESSES LATER THAT I FOUND THE ONE

I actually saw the gown I wound up getting online and saved it as one I wanted to try on.... I never got around to and I tried on everything! Every shape, style, fabric and ever color! ( I tried on one that looked like pink cotton candy) Then MOH showed me some gowns she thought I might like and there was the same gown I had picked out! We went specifically looking for it... I put it on... and I knew it! I don't know if everyone else felt the same way... but it was the most 'me' gown I found.

The 1st dress that I tried on was the dress I chose. I have my dress on a magazine layout - and its like I knew before trying it on. I just knew it was the one for me. I felt like crying. The dresses I tried on after that - just didnt do anything for me.

I kind of did.... I tried my dress on as a halter but wasn't crazy about it being a halter. The woman told me she had it strapless also. And that is what I wound up getting.

It wasnt the first one I tried on but it was the one I loved on the computer-everyone kept telling us that they had the sample and when we would get there they didnt-so Id try others...but it was the first one iloved

I tried on 6 dresses, it was the last dress that I tried on. From the moment I put that dress on. I knew that it was the dress that I would be wearing on my wedding day.

I did not buy the first dress I tried on. I think I might have bought the last dress I tried on. I certainly knew 'the dress' when I tried it on

I did not 'buy', my aunt is making it- but technically if I had to buy- I wouldve definatly bought the 1st dress I tried on. I picked it out of a magazine among hundreds of others and narrowed it down to that being my top pick. So when i went to the store to try it on and held it up i said EW this dress is soooo ugly- but i tried it on anyway and it was AMAZING. my aunt is replicating it now BUT my case is NOT typical I dont think.. I think i just REALLY got lucky,,,

I kept looking around on the computer. I wanted something very plain and with no pick ups. I kept finding myself going back to this one Mori Lee dress over and over. Everytime I searched there was a pic of that dress.
So I went to a store and tried it on and it was the one. It has a halter top with embroidery on it and pick ups.
I tried on literally about 100 dresses...each trip I found a dress and was like 'i think this could be the one'...then i thought I found the 'one'...tried it on at a second store...still liked it, until I put on my actual dress I got...and was like 'crap! I really really like this one!'...only because i thought i had finally made up my mind with the previous tried on dress....when they said they had one in the store, brand new, never worn, with tags, and half price...AND it actually was my size & fit...even with a hollow to hem( i am short, so what are the chances)...and i wasn't even supposed to be dress shopping...i had an art show that was rained out...AND it was the first time my Mom actually came shopping...it was like it was all just meant to be...and I LOVE my dress...when i least expected it, there it was....just like FH

I bought the LAST dress I tried on.. my grandmother begged me to try it.. so I did.. and I fell in love.. I THOUGHT I was going to get the first one- I was torn... Then I found it.. :) I tried on 8 total

Well I definitely didn't get the first dress I tried on - I went through a lot!! However, at the LAST place I looked for dresses, the very first dress I SAW when I walked in there was the dress that wound up getting.
