how many

dresses did all of you try on before you found the one? & i feel like i spend so much time in the places trying on dresses--what is you average time in a store? mine is like 2 hours!

my dress was in the second store i went to and the 6th dress i tried on. i cried when i saw myself in it and so did my mom & MOH

I found 'the one' on the first try. I tried on about 20 after that (3 days worth of shopping) but I bought the first one

I thought it was going to be like that because I can never make up my mind,but It was the second one I put on. If I was in the store an hour it was a long time!

The second dress I tried on was 'THE ONE' I asked the saleslady to pick some that she thought would look good on me and she brought it in. As soon as I looked at myself in that big mirror I almost cried

I would like to add that I tried more on that day, took a trip to boston and tried even more on and then went to NY to show my mom and sisters. I just wanted to be sure

My gown was the second one I tried on. I loved it, but after that I tried on about 30 more just to make sure. Then I went back with my mom a few days later and put it on again and I was positive. I even got a little teary, which I did not think would happen!

My gown was the first one but I tried on many many more just to be sure. I ALWAYS went back to the 1st one

me too....i tried on practically 100 gowns also before i finally found THE ONE! (it took me 4 months--that's because i'm nuts!!)

I went to alot of shops and tried on over twenty gowns until I found the right shop and the right gown. You will know when it is the one. When I wore it on my wedding I knew it was exactly what I wanted Good luck shopping!

I got lucky. My dress was the first one they picked out for me at the first store I went to. But of course I went to other places to make sure. None of the other places or dresses even came close but I'm glad I tried on others because it just made me even more sure that it was THE ONE!

Good luck with you search. You'll know when you find the right one for you, it will make you feel like a princess.

MIne was probably the 6th or 7th dress is the second place...probably the 20th overall. We went fast, though. Mom would help me into one and I would turn around and both of us would know immediately that it wasn't right, and off it came, in like 4 seconds.

A LOT!!! I found 'THE ONE' on my first try, but hesitated on buying it where I found it... So I searched and searched and found it!!! But I'd have to say I tried on atleast 30 gowns in between! UGH!! It was exhausting!!!!!!

It was in the second store I tried on, it was the 2nd dress. The original one that I wanted was too busy for me, and the one I picked was very elegant and flattering and romantic.

I can't wait for my fittings to begin, and I can't wait till the day I walk down the aisle and my FH eyes go wide.

I've been to about 12 bridal stores and my dress was the last one I tried on.

Cindy is right- the dress and the place felt perfect & I new my search was over!

I tried on about 10 dresses in Bonaventure, all different...Nothing that I LOVED. I went to BR in carle place and fell in love with the first on i tried on. I had a pic of it first...But I knew it was the one.

alot.
but I actually found My dress at the second store i went to, but wanted to check out other dresses before I made my final decision. I dont know if I recommend this. I ended up loving 3 of them, but went back to my original One.
I did stress about it lots though.
