Hair trials did you girls go for??? I went yesterday, spent $100, and didn't like any of the hairstyles. I feel so discouraged and I'm starting to think this is going to cost a lot of money. Also, any recommendations on who to use? I'm looking for a soft, natural curl and don't want to feel like Shirley Temple.

Re: How many?
the women doing my hair just had a baby so i will have to wait & see if we have time to get a trial in before the day of.
on the bright side she has done my hair in the past & she always does a great job so if we can't schedule one, i will have gone for zero trials.

I feel your pain. I'm going to two. My first trial went the same exact way as yours. She shalacked my hair down with a crap load of hair spray, after saying I wanted it natural looking, and ended up with sholder lenght tight curls. I'm still pissed I even paid for it but I felt bad telling her to stop while she was doing it. I go for my second in a few weeks and as soon as I see her do one curl that is too tight, I'm telling her to stop. I should have did that the first time.

I only had one hair trial because I was very happy wiht the result. But I had two makeup trials - and would have done more if I didn't like the 2nd. I know it can get costly, but you definitely don't want to compromise on your big day.
