What a wonderful thread! My DH lost his job twice, once during the wedding planning (when I also received a 10% salary reduction) and again a month after the wedding. Then his mother passed away and we are left with an extra car payment we can't afford. If you wouldn't mind, could you please add us to your prayers? I will add all of your prayers to mine as well. Mary, that is really sweet of you. I just applied for a higher paying job and could use a prayer that I get it. FH needs a better job too and a car. We are driving with one car. The gas saving car died in May and we can't afford to fix it. Good luck to everyone.

You are so nice to have us in your prayers. My FH and I are hurting, it is a few months until our wedding and we living in my shoe box room in my parents house. This will be my first time leaving my parents, but we have no where to go we do not make enough $ each month to keep up.

Groom was one of 8 laid off June 30....they needed to make the numbers better for the next quarter they said. 2 of them were guests who already rsvp'ed yes :( I have great faith in him, but the timing isn't ideal. thanks for the good energy!
