Thanks Mary. Right back at you! I will admit that we are definately lucky. Chris has a stable job and mine isn't going anywhere right now so we are much much better off then many people. I am trying to switch jobs so that could be a whole other story!

Add me Mary!!! Any prayers I can get will help.. Here in my little town in Ohio there is crap for jobs and with gas prices.. I can't afford to drive 2 hrs each way for work. I have even been looking in PA for work it's only 35 mins away. Let's talk about not only gas prices but what about food prices?? They have gotten stupid also but Chris says it is because of gas the shipping and all.

What a nice idea, Mary! This is so sweet and thoughtful of you! I agree, I think everyone is feeling it on some level. But, I feel for those who have lost their jobs. It's very unnerving. The gas prices are killing us...my FH spends a fortune on gas driving back and forth every day. But, I'm grateful that we both have jobs. I have been at my job a long time, but you just never know...it has been pretty quiet in the office. I have to admit I'm a little nervous with the wedding getting closer and all of the expenses. I'll be a little relieved once it's over to try to get back on track. I'm going to say a special prayer for you tonight, Mary.

What a wonderful thread! My DH lost his job twice, once during the wedding planning (when I also received a 10% salary reduction) and again a month after the wedding. Then his mother passed away and we are left with an extra car payment we can't afford. If you wouldn't mind, could you please add us to your prayers? I will add all of your prayers to mine as well. You are such a sweet person, Mary, thank you!

Oh, I understand that one...my FH inherited his mother's car payment and it sits on the driveway.

Mary, that is really sweet of you. I just applied for a higher paying job and could use a prayer that I get it. FH needs a better job too and a car. We are driving with one car. The gas saving car died in May and we can't afford to fix it. Good luck to everyone.
