how many bridesmaids?

We have 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen, and 2 junior bridesmaids. Within those 6 bridesmaids, I have a maid of honor and a matron of honor.

ETA:I wouldn't ask people too far in advance, because one thing I've learned is a LOT can change in a year! Good luck!

i had 2 mohs and 3 bms DH had 4 gms

I told them after I got engaged but some people wait because friendships change over the years

I have 2 MOH and 4 BM...the MOHs are my sisters, so they were told right away, and one BM is my cousin, so she knew right away too. My other BM knew very soon too, she's my best friend, and then FSIL was told a little later in the Fall. My other best friend was the last to be told, in November, because we had to work out some issues first. So pretty much I was set 5 months after getting engaged.

FH on the other hand, never asked his brother to be BM, it was just assumed. He asked one friend I think over AIM just about a month or so ago. He still didn't ask one friend, and may possibly even ask a fourth, but he's not really in to details, and as long as I know before the tuxes need to be ordered, I'm not gonna push it.

i have 1 moh and 7bm. I asked them at the engagement party because I can't keep a secret.

FH has 13 gm however he wants to wait to ask them. (I have no idea why)

If you are unsure of who to ask then maybe you should wait until you are convinced that you made the right selection.

The best advice is the advice i can only give from my own experience. wait as long as you can because a lot of things can happen within that first year. I'm getting married in November and I told everyone last january and i wish I kept it quiet until now... so Feb, with a wedding in november. 9 months?

We were super excited too and just couldnt wait so we did it at the engagement party. plus i was kinda being pushed into it by some of my girls! but i wish i had waited.

I have 1 MOH, 2BM, and a flower girl. My FH has ! best man and 2 GM.

I told my girls within a few days of getting engaged and my FH has to ask one more guy and then we're set!
