How many days are you taking off of work before the wedding?

I am getting married on a Saturday and I am not sure how many days to take off prior. I definitely put in to take off the Friday before and the Monday after. We aren't able to go on a honeymoon until several months later. FH is a a teacher.
Do you think I will need the Thursday too? Everyone keeps telling me there will be so much to do. Am I being really naive or over esimating how much I will get done prior to tat week?
Please give me your opinions.

well Im getting married on friday. I'd like to take wed and thurs off. Heck Id like to take thw hole week, but doubt it will happen!

I am taking Wed-Friday (and maybe monday after) at most tues-friday (and maybe monday after) i am still unsure myself... actuallly it all depends on how much stuff i leave for the very last minute...

I'm getting married on a Sunday so I took THe Thurs & Fri b4 so I will have 3 full days to do last minute stuff and relax with OOTers......then I have 2 weeks after for HM if we actually go lol

We had Relatives coming in i took 3 days before the wedding and 3 weeks after. I had the time!
we went on our honeymoon for 2 weeks.

Tuesday will be my last day before our Saturday wedding. I am taking off Wed-Fri.
I had a friend who didn't take any time off (literally went from work to the rehersal dinner!) and was super stressed. Note: She could have done a TON earlier in her planning. She waited till the night before to do place cards.

I took 3 days before and 2 weeks for the Honeymoon.

I am getting married 9/7 so I have Monday off already for Labor day...I am then taking Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (wedding is friday)as well just in case there are any last minute things I need to do.
