How many ladies have FH/DH that are not beach/pool people??
Mine is not, and quite frankly, I've become less that way as well. BUT for the HM I was thinking of doing Aruba or or St . Lucia, but because I'm paranoid abput being 'bored' I'm leaning towards Disney. But we ALWAYS go there! But I konw there is always something to do......What to do, What to do....

My FH is a beach person but I am not. I really dislike sitting out under the sun or by the beach... so for our honeymoon we went to Greece. There's more to do than beach/swim.
How about going to a place with warm weather but also has stuff to see and do? Such as Florida Keys, Spain and other European destinations?

My FH and I are exactly like you and your FH We decided that we are going to go to Disney because we want something 'to do.' Vegas is also another option.... good luck!

Vegas!! I think that's what we're doing - going to Vegas for a few days and then going to an island. I'm 100000% a beach person but the thought of being on the beach for more than like 6 days makes me bored just thinking about it and FH is 100000% NOT a beach person so we thought breaking it up would be perfect. The beach is great but I agree with you, after a while it's boring.

Mine is not, plus he doesn't know how to swim.
I would definitely try to go someplace that you haven't been before.
Our outlook was this is our last 'big expensive' vacation before the house and kids, so let's make it a good one or one we may not go on again for a long time.
We picked Hawaii....even though it's surrounded by water, there are so many other activities we can do. We can still hit the beach, yet not be inundated with 'water activities' since FH can't swim.
Good luck with your choice! You have time. We just booked today and we're 4 months away!

FH wont go to local beaches, but when we are on vacay he likes to go to tropical places. (I have given up on trying to understand him). I usually bring things to keep him entertained, like cards, crossword puzzles, his ipod, a camera...
And we do a lot of water sports, snorkling, renting wave runners, take walks. Plus I will usually wake up before him and reserve chairs and he will meet me out there, and he will sometimes leave 30 min before i do.
These things keep him happy enough to continue going back and i am happy b/c all I want to do is be outside and on beach

I'm not a beach person AT ALL and would get terribly bored at a 'lounge' sort of HM.
We're going to France (3 different cities over 10 days) for our honeymoon and I couldn't be more excited!!!!!!!
You two should talk about it and make it a trip you'll both enjoy.

As a few others mentioned, I'd say VEGAS! There's a million things to do there even if you're not into gambling. I know a few people who went there for their honeymoon and had an awesome time. I've never had a bad time there myself, I'd definitely recommend it.

My FH HATES the beach. He could be a pool person, but our problem is that we both get bored very easily. Even me, I like the beach, but I can only go and lay out for maybe an hour or two before I get bored.
That's why we are trying to go to Australia for our HM instead of a beachy place. We're more touristy people when we travel - we like to go sight seeing, snorkeling, hiking, things like that.

Europe is a good idea. They have cruises that go to like 12 cities in 14 days. There is always something to do!

I totally understand. FH is Puerto Rican and really does not care for the beach. He likes the pool but there's only so much time to be spent hanging by the pool and drinking. lol
For our HM we are thinking of going to a ski lodge or something since we both love that and we are getting married in the winter.
Our other idea was VEGAS or Disney as well! I think you would def have fun at either of those places.

FH loves both but really doesn't like being there when it is crowded. I guess I don't like it much either, but to be honest...you prob will never see those ppl again so ***... lol

My FH is not, and neither am I! We have to go on a honeymoon in July b/c we both work in schools, so we're going to northern France and England where it doesn't get too hot! It was either that or an Alaskan cruise!

My FH isn't really a beach person either. We are going to probably do a driving tour of Argentina. If you are looking at it from the standpoint that this will be your last big vacation I would suggest Buenos Aires. It is VERY european however a lot less expensive and there is a lot to do/see. Also, the shopping is great and I've never had a bad meal there!
If you go in November right after your wedding, it will be spring going into summer in Argentina! (I should work for the tourism board!)

I love the water and FH hates the water, and we were too thinking of Disney but we decided not to becuase we can go anytime and im sure we will often with children when that day comes, FH also doesnt drink so all inclussive would stink for us. We decided to go on a cruise, and we are doing a lot of culture excursions not beach one, other than i must swim with dolphines, lol. As other girls suggest, Spain, Itlay, Greces are all great options.

I am much more of a beach person then FH. I usually bring some supplys to keep him entertained ex. mags, snacks, ipod, etc...lol. If he gets bored before I am ready to go in I just stay alone.

Mine is so not, so we are doing Paris...I'm not complaining.
Do you normally go to Disneyworld or land? If you normally go to one why not try the other one. That way it's different and new but still Disney!
