I think you should start looking pronto. I was told that a lot of places take a year (sometimes more) to get your dress in. In my case, I had to have my dress order in by October for my August wedding to allow time for fittings. I guess it depends where you get it from though.

I ordered mine 8 months before and it should arrive 2months before hand.

I ordered my gown july 16th and it just came in 3 weeks ago! Start looking ASAP

I ordered mine this month for a september wedding and the bridal shops kept telling me that I needed to order it soon. I think you need about a month for fittings so I think if you order it by May you're ok. It took me forever to find a dress so I would say start now incase you don't find something you like quickly.

My wedding is before you and i don't have a dress yet either...have only tried one on!
Don't let anyone scare you - you are fine. Looking late March is totally fine. Tell them your wedding is like 3 weeks or a month before it really is - just to make sure it's here on time! Good luck!

Mine told me 8months to a year. I ordered it in July and they told me it is due in next month. So 8 months. You have time, but you should start looking to get idea's.
