How many 'must play' songs did you give your DJ?

I feel like he's going to kill me with the # of songs I'm going to give him... lol

Besides what we're walking in to, just a few. I think three tops! We didn't want to limit him, so we just told him what artists we didn't like, made a few special request songs and that was it. They did a great job, everyone loved our DJ.

I didn't bother, my DJ really went along with the feel of the wedding. He really blew us away. I did give a list of 'Do Not Play' songs.

A do not play is a must, but we only are requesting a few for him to play.

Our DJ said that we could request basically as many as we like but that there are time constraints, etc... I am sure we will have a large do not play list and maybe like 10-12 must play songs, otherwise we'll just let the DJ do his job.

I'll be giving mine a lot. It's their job to play what I want to hear so I might as well give them a list ot go by.

In addition to the songs for key moments in the reception (walking in, first dance, mother/groom dance), I gave my band leader 8 must play songs. I also differentiated which songs the band can play and which ones should be played by the DJ.

I gave him 15 Would Like to Hear songs, so he gets what kind of music I like.

I also gave him 20 Do not play songs.

Hoe many are you going to give... I have a list of aboutn 15-20.. Hearing the songs I want is VERY impostant to me

our list had 45 songs on it. we highlighted the most important ones.
