Hmm I have 6months to go till married, I wonder when I should start snooping?

I'm really naive so surprising me isn't too hard, however I did know about my shower because by fiance's cousin told me she was coming!

I didn't probe any further...but I figured it out since I knew the invites were out. I hated knowing too...my bridesmaids and mom did such an awesome job!

Well I had two showers one in MD and one in New York. I knew about both b/c they had to make sure they could get me there. I live in VA.

Although I acted surprised, I totally knew about it. It was difficult b/c my in-laws live overseas and I thought it would have to take place when they came here. I figured it out by process of elimanation of the weekends leading up to the wedding.

I volunteer at a soup kitchen on Saturday mornings, so I had to know, so I could find coverage for the day that I was going to be away, so they had to tell me and I did not want to show up looking a hot mess anyway

I found out by accident. I got an email notification that someone had bought something off the registry and it was backordered. So I did process of elimination. I was still surprised by who was there and where it was held.

My mom is insisting it be a surprise even though I would rather know about it. Apparently my bridal party is keeping the secret though b/c they are sending emails and making plans behind my back. I will be pretty suprised if no one slips up though, considering how many are coming from out of town.

I knew but wasn't supposed to. I'm a big baby & I hate surprises anyway. DH kept his lips sealed, but I found out anyway.
Even though I got dresses that morning knowing i was on my way to my shower, I was still so shocked by people that made the trip & the amount oif gifts & how perfect it was

I love the idea of not knowing. I mean, we all know we are getting one, but I think the best showers are the ones where the bride shows up in sweats!! I mean, you do have to be ready to tear into all of those presents!

I knew that is also because my mother can not keep a secret ...if her life depended on it...Also my only sisiter lives in Florida and was coming up for a weeding so if happened to work out...I also had my friedn who also lived in florida flow up for the weeekend. SO it was nice that my entire bridal Party was at my shower...we had it my moms house and it was really nice...I would have liked a surprize but ...thats it..

Whether or not you are surprised it will be great fun. They got hubby to drive me there. It was just wonderful to see everyone there. You will enjoy your shower, surprised or not
